This Ilk La Rose Brooch

The La Rose brooch is directly inspired by the classic red rose, a powerful cultural symbol throughout history. Often seen as a symbol of eternal love, the rose from the literary classic “The Little Prince” was particularly influential in the creation of this piece. This bold yet surprisingly lightweight piece is made from hand-dyed vintage lace, meticulously hand-stitched to create a three-dimensional flower, with a raw brass stem. It is available in rose-inspired colorways that evoke the botanical world. Because the dyes are mixed by hand, colors may vary slightly. La Rose is offered as a brooch/lapel pin, a sturdy style designed to sit flat on clothing. This option is ideal for those who do not wish to wear it as earrings, although the earrings version can also be worn as a brooch. Mounted on a gold-plated 316 stainless steel pin with cap. The flower measures approximately 3.5 cm in diameter. Total length: 7.5 cm. Weight: approximately 8 grams. Care instructions: Spot clean white lace with stain removers such as “Tide-to-go” or “Shout” wipes. The brass is raw and can be polished as often as desired with a polishing cloth.
